Corrections to articles
No corrections have been needed yet. When an article is corrected, the correction is listed here with its date and a note of what changed, and the same note is added at the end of the article.
How corrections work
- Articles: the error is checked against the original source. If it is confirmed, the article text is fixed, a dated correction note is added at the end of the article, the article's "Updated" date moves on, and the correction is listed above.
- Match data (scores, scorecards, results and statistics) comes from the official data feed. When the feed corrects a match, every FairPlay page that shows it updates automatically. These automatic updates are not listed here.
- Not an error: if the article was right, the report is closed with a note in FairPlay's editorial system. If you gave a contact detail, the editorial desk can reply.
The full standards are in the editorial policy. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, see grievance redressal.
Report an error
Use the form below, or the "Report an error" form at the end of any article. Include the page link and, if you can, a source for the correct fact.
